We are a friendly practice and we serve around 6,100 patients.

The surgery is staffed by trained receptionists from:
8.00am - 6.30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
The surgery is closed at weekends.
Requests for appointments and visits should be made between 8.00am and 10.00 am and via telephone only. Do not come to the Surgery to try and book an appointment.
Requests for non-urgent appointments e.g to see our Practice Nurse or Phlebotomist, test results and prescriptions are best made between 2pm and 4pm when staff have more time to attend to you.
Our amazing receptionists and care navigators continue to face abuse by our patients daily.
THIS IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE.
Our team is doing their very best for you. The fault is with the NHS the lack of appointments and high demand are not the responsibility of hard working reception staff.
Bootle Village Surgery has a Zero Tolerance Policy. Any patient who continues to behave in this manner will receive a written warning that may result in removal from our practice list.
Clinicians
We are a small and friendly surgery with two female GP Partners, as well as regular sessional GPs, a Physicians Associate, GP Registrars and Foundation Doctors working at the practice. In addition to the doctors, we have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who can help with minor ailments and prescribe and refer as appropriate.

The practice team deliver a full range of clinical services under our General Medical Services (GMS) contract with NHS England.
Training practice status
Bootle Village Surgery is a training practice, supporting the development of GP Registrars and Foundation Doctors. This means patients may see doctors in training, who are supervised by our experienced GP partners.
